Overview

Size bracketing is when a shopper adds two or more sizes of the same product to their cart, planning to return the ones that don’t fit. Anti-Bracketing detects this in real time and opens a prompt — a side panel or modal — asking the shopper to choose one size, optionally showing Kleep’s AI size recommendation. The feature is fully optional for shoppers: they can always dismiss it and keep all sizes in their cart.

Standard installation

For Shopify stores, no manual code installation is required. The Kleep team adds the Anti-Bracketing widget to your theme as an app embed, following the same process as your initial AI Sizing setup.
1

Configure in the dashboard

Open the Kleep dashboard and go to AI Sizing → Anti-bracketing. Enable the feature and configure your preferred trigger frequency, layout (panel or modal), and wordings per language.
See the Anti-Bracketing dashboard guide for a detailed walkthrough of every configuration option.
2

Contact the Kleep team

Let your Kleep representative know you’ve enabled Anti-Bracketing. We will add the widget to your Shopify theme — no action needed on your side.
3

Go live

Once the theme update is published, the widget is active. It reads your configuration from the Kleep CDN automatically, so any dashboard changes take effect within a few minutes — no further theme edits needed.
The widget listens to your Shopify cart natively. When a shopper adds a second size of the same product, the prompt appears according to your trigger settings. You can preview the exact look in the dashboard’s live preview panel before going live.

How it works for shoppers

  1. A shopper adds 2+ sizes of the same product to their cart
  2. The Anti-Bracketing prompt appears (panel or modal, depending on your config)
  3. The shopper sees your custom message and, if enabled, Kleep’s recommended size
  4. They choose “Keep only size X” or “Continue with both sizes”
  5. If they keep one size, the other is removed from the cart automatically

Configuration

All settings — trigger frequency, layout, content toggles, wordings — are managed entirely from the Kleep dashboard. No theme code changes are needed to update them. For the full configuration reference, see the Anti-Bracketing dashboard guide.
